Vickie Leaf

At Lakeland Hills Elementary I am a teacher, a media specialist, a technology coordinator and a part of a fantastic staff.  I enjoy the children who come to me daily to become entranced in literature and bridge their classroom knowledge with other media.  The lit-up eyes of my students as they disect a science project or dig into the past for history give my library the best glow that any one educator, parent or community member would want to see.

At home I am a wife (to Mike), a mother (to Tony, Jerod, Jessica, and mother-in-law to Lisa and Christopher), a grandmother (2 very beautiful and intelligent grandsons and 1 brand new beautiful granddaughter), gardener, movie editor, reader, scrapbooker and geneologist.  Relaxing or working my mind and my focus falls to the world around me and how blessed I am to have a role in it.
